Second Grade Supply List

Please mark all belongings with your child’s name. Please do not send in extra items such as sharpeners, pens, and paper or toy erasers. We appreciate your cooperation in supplying your child with the following items:

binder dividers labeled by subject: reading, writing, math, social studies, science
floppy/flexible 1’ binder
5 pocket folders with brads in the following colors: red, yellow, green, blue and purple
1 pocket folder with horizontal pockets only please
2 red ballpoint pens
4 or more glue sticks
1 – 5” x 8” school box
2 bottles of Elmer’s liquid glue (white only)
crayons (no more than 24)
scissors
2 dozen number 2 pencils SHARPENED
4 pink erasers
2 yellow highlighters
1 box Ziploc storage bags (Girls: gallon size Boys: quart size)
1 pack washable magic markers
3 marble composition books
1 container Lysol antibacterial wipes
1 package of dry erase markers (not permanent)
1 old clean sock
1 box of tissues and 1 dispenser of hand soap
2 packages of Post It Notes in the following sizes: 4” x 6” with lines and 1 ½” x 2” (any color will do)

Extra supplies will be collected and stored at school. We will distribute them as needed throughout the year.

Donations of the following would be greatly appreciated but are not required: stickers, paper towels, books for the classroom library, hand sanitizer, children’s magazines, extra colored folders, extra magic markers, blank CD ROMs
